Hannah Moulange

Hannah is a Research Associate at Giving What We Can, where she helps identify high-impact charities and funds for our donors and assess the evaluators our recommendations rely on. Before joining the team, she was an animal welfare researcher at Rethink Priorities, where she published on farmed shrimp and salmon welfare, wild animal welfare, and the effects of AI on animal industries. She has an undergraduate degree in zoology and a master's in biological anthropology.

Outside of work, Hannah spends a lot of time in her garden, drinks a lot of tea and matcha, knits and sews, and is always up for a board game or an escape room.
