Alex von Halasz

Alex is the Community Engagement Coordinator at Giving What We Can, where he grows the community of pledgers through high-touch personal outreach and one-on-one relationships. He takes the time to understand each person's unique journey, answer their questions, and walk alongside them as they explore what meaningful impact looks like for them.

Before joining GWWC, Alex spent a purposeful year in personal development through travel, entrepreneurship, and volunteer work, launching his own business while exploring diverse global perspectives. He graduated with First Class Honours in International Relations from Loughborough University, with prior experience at Natixis IM during his placement year.

Outside of work, he's passionate about people, outdoor adventures, sport and travelling. An unplanned Royal Enfield ride through the snowy Himalayas standing out as a personal highlight. He has an unlimited amount of enthusiasm and energy for the good in people and the world.
