Hi, I’m Nazlı!

As I approach a new milestone — my 30th birthday — I’ve been thinking about what it really means. I feel incredibly lucky to have so much that I love in my life. I get to wake up and do meaningful work every day. I get to build communities I care about. I get to share my yoga practice. And I get to share my life with people (and cats!) with huge hearts.

Looking back on the last 10 years, a lot has changed. I’ve weathered storms — and I’ve witnessed rainbows and butterflies, too. But if I had to say what’s changed the most, it’s that I’ve become more intentional. More conscious of the choices I make, and of the responsibility that comes with the privilege of having choices at all.

I’m proud that I can see that growth reflected in my choices today. As many of you already know, farmed animals are among the most numerous and overlooked beings in the world. Over time, supporting thoughtful, strategic efforts to help them hasn’t just become important to me, it has also become part of who I am.

So for my 30th birthday, I’m partying with impact 🎉
I’m raising money for the world’s most neglected animals.

My goal? $20 for every year I’ve been alive. And to make this even more meaningful, every donation made will be matched up to 600$ doubling the impact we can create together.
