Welcome back to my 5th annual Giving What We Can fundraiser! Over the past four years, this amazing community has helped raise nearly $10,000 towards the world's most effective charities.

For those unfamiliar, every year I hold a fundraiser based on the principles of effective altruism, the idea that we should use data and evidence to do the most good possible per dollar. That is why 100% of your donations here will go directly to the "Giving What We Can Global Health and Wellbeing Fund". This fund rigorously evaluates and supports only the world's most highly impactful, cost-effective interventions, ensuring your contribution goes exponentially further in saving and dramatically improving lives.

This Year's Fundraiser:
To make this year extra special, every $10 you donate counts as a raffle ticket for an awesome prize: I will personally fund a grant to a charity of the winner's choice, AND the lucky winner will receive a $200 Amazon gift card just for themselves!

I am kicking off the winner’s charity grant with a $500 base donation out of my own pocket. Additionally, as we hit fundraising milestones for this fundraiser, I will continue to raise the amount of money that I donate to the winner's charity!

Here is how the prize vault grows based on what we raise together:

Goal 1: If we collectively raise $1,000 — I will double the winner's grant to $1,000!
Goal 2: If we reach $2,000 — The winner gets to direct $1,500 to their favorite cause!
Goal 3: If we hit $3,000 — The winner's grant jumps to $2,000!
The Mega-Goal: If we hit $5,000 — The winner gets an incredible $3,000 donated to their chosen charity!
