It's my 25th birthday!
The chance of me reaching this age was about 99% when I was born, so unfortunately it's not particularly impressive.
Had I been born in (say) Benin, the chance of reaching 25 would have dropped about 85-90%. I probably would have been painfully infected with malaria multiple times, been malnourished, and have a yearly income well below £1000.
Luckily for me, this is not the case. So please donate here to help those less lucky than me (and probably you)! Every pound donated will go to the charities most effective at improving human wellbeing – in the past, this has largely meant a focus on malaria and other diseases.
I use Giving What We Can to donate 10% of my personal income to the most effective charities at alleviating suffering.
