About
Emma has been professionally involved with effective giving since 2022 when she joined One for the World. This role came after years of running campaigns and managing a global, distributed network of volunteers at a farmed animal protection nonprofit. She has been committed to effective giving for almost 10 years, taking the 10% pledge in 2015 during her graduate studies in geoscience. Since then, she has developed a career supporting the development of vibrant communities within both her home of Madison, Wisconsin, and around the world. In her spare time, Emma is an avid ultrarunner and race director at the Driftless Trail Collective.
