World Malaria Day 2023

Every year, malaria claims the lives of hundreds of thousands of people around the world, particularly children under the age of five. World Malaria Day is an opportunity to recognize the devastating impact of this disease and to come together to raise funds to fight it.

We are partnering with the Against Malaria Foundation and the Malaria Consortium to raise as much as we can which will go towards providing long-lasting insecticidal nets to those at risk and life-saving medication to children in areas where malaria is most prevalent during the rainy season.

Malaria is a particularly cruel disease. It can cause high fever, chills, and flu-like symptoms, making it difficult to distinguish from other common illnesses. If left untreated, it can quickly progress to severe malaria, which can cause seizures, organ failure, and ultimately death.

But it doesn't have to be this way. Malaria is entirely preventable, and we can make a real difference in the fight against this disease. With your support, we can provide life-saving interventions to those who need them most and work towards a world where malaria is no longer a threat.

Please consider making a donation today to help us save lives. Just $5 USD can buy and deliver a bednet and $5000 USD could save someone's life through chemoprevention. Reaching $1 million USD would mean we could prevent roughly 200 deaths from malaria. Which is 200 families who will not have to feel the grief of losing a loved one.

Join our global campaign to come together to prevent this devastating, and all too common disease!

Outside of the UK, US or Netherlands?

If you're in New Zealand, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Australia, Canada, Spain, Germany or Switzerland you can donate via one of our campaign partners!

We still think donating to malaria prevention is one of the most impactful ways you can donate; even if you do not receive a tax benefit, it's likely still worth donating to this campaign. Read more about this idea here.
