The Alps are warming about twice as fast as the global average, according to the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change. In the past two years alone, Swiss glaciers have lost 10 percent of their water volume.

As an International Mountain Leader and business sustainability consultant, I'm teaming up with Giving Green to help guides and guiding companies take action on climate change. Giving Green's research team finds highly effective charities working to advance climate action. We think donating to these nonprofits is one of the most impactful actions you can take as an individual – because it means you can directly contribute to systems change.
