Giving What We Can (GWWC) is seeking an International Effective Giving Coordinator and Incubator to help us support the global effective giving community and the development of new effective giving initiatives.
You will work closely with our current team and international partners to coordinate and support effective giving efforts worldwide.
You will report directly to the Executive Director, regularly consult with an advisory board, and collaborate with our team to support collaboration between existing initiatives, and to incubate new ones.
Ultimately your work helps ensure that highly effective charities have the resources they need so that they can focus on saving and significantly improving lives now and for generations to come.
Giving What We Can is a community of effective givers. We aim to create a culture where people are inspired to give more, and give more effectively. We help donors to find the world’s most pressing problems and identify the best charities working to solve them. We are best known for the Giving What We Can Pledge where over 8,000 people have pledged to give over 10% of their income to high impact charities. Our members have pledged over $3bn and donated over $300 million.
You are passionate about effective giving, excited by our values, and are highly motivated about supporting the growth of effective giving projects around the world. You have experience in program development, management, and/or project coordination. You are able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
You have a strong network of international contacts and are committed to growing the reach and impact of effective giving efforts worldwide. You are a good listener and communicator and have the ability to form positive relationships with international partners and organisations. You see yourself thriving in a varied role, where in a given week you may be responsible for relationships with major stakeholders, as well as for completion of routine, behind-the-scenes tasks.
Confidence can hold us back. Keep in mind there is no such thing as a perfect candidate. If you are excited about this role and think that you might be a great fit, we encourage you to apply!

Location is flexible provided the candidate can attend regular meetings compatible with various time zones (most of our core team are based in Europe and Australia with partners, stakeholders and affiliates all over the world). In general, do not let your location or timezone hold you back from applying.
