Julian Hazell

Julian is passionate about creating tangible social change through the use of rigorous and evidence-based thinking that frequently leverages principles from economics and behavioural science. This passion led him to the EA community, where he is primarily interested in exploring the behavioural aspects that drive charitable decisions as well as interventions that can be used to make these decisions more effective. Julian volunteers as a columnist for Giving What We Can and has previously worked as an associate editor at The Decision Lab, a behavioural science think-tank. He has a bachelor’s degree in economics and management from McGill University and is currently working as an analyst at RBI.
